Due to our ongoing success, we now have a vacancy for an Area Sales Manager.
The role: Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving contract and distribution sales growth across the Midlands territory, working collaboratively with the wider regional team.
Key Focus Areas:
- Develop and grow sales across contractors, distributors, and specification channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Increase brand awareness of Gradus products across your territory

- 50% Flooring Contractors
- 20% Distribution Partners
- 30% Specification activity and team collaboration

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the annual sales budget while developing a clear territory growth plan
- Build and manage relationships with key flooring contractors, distributors, and main contractors
- Maintain and develop a strong project pipeline using CRM systems
- Monitor and manage projects throughout their lifecycle
- Implement company pricing policies effectively
- Work closely with Regional Teams, Key Account Managers (Housing, Healthcare, Industry, Sport), and Accessories Sales colleagues
- Support national distribution strategies alongside the Distribution Regional Sales Manager
- Increase specification opportunities and overall project pipeline
- Attend and support trade shows, exhibitions, and distributor roadshows
- Provide market intelligence on competitors, product trends, standards, and distribution channels
- Contribute ideas towards product development
- Attend customer visits, including factory tours where required
- Investigate and report on customer complaints where necessary

- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK / valid residency status
