About the role
Help businesses stay compliant while making a positive environmental impact. Are you a people‐person who loves working with data? Want to be part of a team that makes a real difference to sustainability? Our client is looking for a Supplier Engagement Advisor to help suppliers submit their environmental data. You'll be the friendly point of contact for suppliers, supporting them via email, phone, live chat, and webinars, while working closely with Account Managers and the Data Team to make sure everything runs smoothly. This is a hands‐on role where you'll learn about environmental compliance, improve your communication and Excel skills, and get to know a company genuinely committed to sustainability.
What you'll be doing
- Customer support & communication
- Respond to suppliers and clients via email, phone, and live chat
- Conduct webinars to help suppliers understand the data submission process
- Support Account Managers with environmental calculations
- Collect and process supplier data using in-house software
- Clean, check, and improve accuracy in the supplier database
- Analyse Plastic Tax evidence according to HMRC rules
- Spot anomalies in the Data Hub and share feedback with the development team
- Complete training on regulations
- Provide input to improve engagement processes
- Work within company policies, ISO standards, and Health & Safety guidelines
What we're looking for
- Accurate, detail‐oriented, and task‐driven
- Confident communicating verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working independently and in a team
- Professional and polite in all interactions
- Interested in environmental issues (a bonus!)
- Comfortable using Excel and working with data
- Office experience via email or phone is helpful but not essential — enthusiasm and a willingness to learn count just as much.
