My client is a rapidly growing Reading-based business specialising in tender writing, bidding, and public procurement. They support their clients to grow their businesses by writing their bids to win new work and contracts.
The role
We are looking for candidates with excellent writing and communication skills to become excellent bid writers. Your role will be to communicate with clients and understand their businesses so that you can effectively translate their service offering into compelling narrative. This is a great role to expose you to an array of organisations (such as charities, consultancy firms, and tier one construction companies) and sectors (including: custody and justice; energy and tech; security and defence; health and social care; and civil engineering and construction). You will support clients in bidding for many iconic projects and your role will help your clients shape public sector service in the UK. You will become personally invested in the success of your clients and enjoy building long-lasting relationships as you support them time and time again.
About you
We’re looking for diligent candidates who are excellent communicators, can take initiative, have good time management skills, and have the ability to work as a team (as well as independently). If you are adaptable, resilient, keen to develop your writing skills, and are a team player – we look forward to receiving your application. My client loves hiring individuals with a foundation of academic and writing skills and developing them into competent professional bid writers. Great candidates for this role often have a background in English Literature, Law, History, and other essay-based subjects.
