What You’ll Be Doing
- From day one, you’ll get hands-on experience in the fascinating world of sound.
- Heading out on site to carry out real-world noise surveys.
- Testing sound insulation in brand-new buildings.
- Building 3D noise models.
- Turning your findings into professional reports.
- Visiting projects across rural, urban and industrial locations throughout the UK.
One week you could be measuring environmental noise in the countryside. The next? Working on a major city-centre development.

What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Acoustics or a closely related subject (Maths, Physics, Engineering, Music Technology, etc.)
- Strong A-Levels in maths and science.
- A friendly, confident personality — someone who can talk just as comfortably with clients as with colleagues.
- A driving licence and access to a car (or close to getting one).
- If you’re curious, practical, and enjoy both problem-solving and people-facing work, you’ll fit right in.
