What type of things will I be working on?
On this 2-year Graduate Scheme, starting September 2026, you’ll contribute to developing and enhancing the firmware for our leading-edge products and systems. This role will challenge you to research and create complex, reliable solutions for our diverse range of offerings, including metrology instrumentation, machine tools, encoders, and additive manufacturing machines.
What you’ll do:
- Participate infour 6-month rotations across various placements, collaborating with mechanical, electronic, and software engineers
- Work on a variety of projects, from developing software-only APIs to firmware for microcontrollers, gaining valuable hands-on experience
- Receive tasks aimed at moving products closer to delivery, with opportunities for both independent and collaborative work

Training and support are offered as required on a continuing basis to support your technical and professional development. Embedded Graduates go onto roles such as Senior Embedded Software Engineers, Principal Engineers or Technical Managers with further progression opportunities based on skills development, performance, and preference.
