The Role
As a Graduate Commercial Analyst, you’ll use data to identify trends, uncover opportunities and help the business make better-informed decisions. You’ll analyse commercial performance, review products and suppliers, support pricing and profitability analysis, and contribute to commercial planning. This is more than a reporting role: you’ll be encouraged to interpret your findings, make recommendations and see how your work influences business strategy. With exposure to multiple business functions, you’ll develop valuable experience for a future career in commercial analysis, business intelligence or commercial strategy.
- Analyse commercial performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Review product ranges and performance, supporting the development and introduction of new products and suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, value and service.
- Support commercial campaigns by tracking results and recommending improvements based on data.
- Analyse pricing, margins and costs to understand profitability and identify areas for improvement.
- Research competitors, market trends and product developments to inform commercial decisions.
- Prepare tender documentation and commercial reports, ensuring information is accurate, clear and professionally presented.

Requirements
Must-Have
- A degree in a numerate, analytical or business-related subject
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding how businesses operate
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain findings clearly
- A proactive attitude and the confidence to take ownership of tasks
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in a commercial, analytical or data-focused role
- Exposure to product, supplier or category analysis
- An understanding of pricing, margins or cost modelling
- Experience with data analysis or visualisation tools beyond Excel
- Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment
