The Role
As a Graduate Hardware Engineer, you’ll work across digital hardware, embedded systems and high-speed electronics, helping develop solutions from initial concepts through to testing. Your work will span both design and practical implementation, giving you a strong foundation for a long-term career in specialist hardware engineering.
Expect to:
- Simulate and implement signal, image and data processing algorithms using VHDL and FPGAs.
- Design PCBs incorporating FPGAs, SoCs, high-speed interfaces and analogue/RF filtering.
- Create electronic schematics and support PCB layout, fabrication and assembly.
- Set hardware to work through testing, firmware and supporting software.

Requirements
- A 1st, 2:1 or PHD in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or Physics.
- A*s in Maths and Physics at a Level.
- Knowledge of FPGA development, PCB design or embedded C/C++.
- All Candidates must meet the criteria for UK GOVT security clearance.
