The Role
As a Graduate Business Development Executive, you will take full ownership of your own sales territory β effectively becoming the commercial lead for your area. Your week will typically involve:
- 3 field-based days meeting clients, delivering demonstrations and closing business
- 2 office-based days (Birmingham) focused on prospecting, planning and account development
- Managing the full end-to-end sales cycle
- Developing relationships with new and existing customers
- Analysing your market, planning strategically and managing performance against targets
Training & Career Development
You will begin with an intensive onboarding programme combining classroom learning with hands-on field training, covering:
- Product and solution knowledge
- Consultative selling and negotiation skills
- Customer meetings, demonstrations and deal progression
Development is continuous and structured, with:
- Ongoing coaching and mentoring
- Clear progression routes
- Typical progression into team leadership within 3 years and area / regional management within 5 years
- Formal leadership and management qualifications
Every manager within the organisation has progressed internally.
Package & Benefits
Β£33,000 base salary + location/area allowance

Requirements
Degree educated or in your final year (any discipline)
Some exposure to sales preferred, gained via a placement year, post-graduate role, internship, part-time work or alongside studies
Highly motivated, resilient and target-driven
Strong communication skills and leadership potential
Full UK driving licence (automatic or manual)
Eligibility to work in the UK from Summer 2026
Please note due to the structured training programme that holidays canβt be taken during the first 12 weeks with the exception of your graduation ceremony.
