About the Role
We are seeking ambitious and motivated graduates to join our operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on leadership skills and grow into a management role in a fast-paced, customer-focused production environment. You’ll begin by leading a dedicated section of the factory, supervising a team of 25 to 50 operatives, while working closely with the Operations Manager and Production Leader. Your focus will be on ensuring productivity, high quality standards, safety, and on-time, in-full (OTIF) customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage your section of the production floor, ensuring output and quality targets are met.
- Motivate and coach your team to deliver consistent performance and drive engagement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify operational efficiencies.
- Ensure Health & Safety and compliance policies are followed at all times.
- Coordinate with engineering and other departments to manage downtime and workflow.
- Record and report KPIs, productivity metrics, and team performance to management.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new colleagues.
- Uphold quality standards aligned with EN14065 (Healthcare-specific as required).
What We’re Looking For
- A recent graduate - ideally in a STEM, business, logistics or engineering discipline.
- Supervisory or leadership experience - any previous experience managing people is a plus.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to lead by example.
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and grow within the organisation.
