Graduate Trainee UK/US Tax Assistant – £31K – Central London (August 2026 start)

Are you detail-oriented, eager to learn, and looking to build a career in tax? GRB are currently working with a fantastic international tax consultancy who are looking for a number of graduate trainees to start this August. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop tax expertise, and work towards professional qualifications in a supportive environment.

This boutique firm are looking to hire their future leaders and can offer long-term progression. They pride themselves on offering quicker progression than other similar firms and you’ll be offered fully funded tax qualifications such as the ATT.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing UK and international tax returns based, which will increase in complexity as you develop
• Assisting with client on-boarding
• Preparing tax authorisation forms
• Organising digital client files and managing essential tax documents
• Communicating with clients regarding tax payments, refunds, and deadlines
• Drafting payment reminders and estimated tax notices
• Liaising with tax authorities as needed
• Assisting with invoice requests and administrative tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally a predicted 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a strong interest in tax
• A team player with strong attention to detail
• Good IT skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• A keen interest in tax
• Any extra-curricular interests related to finance or tax would be a bonus
• Willingness to develop professionally and work towards relevant qualifications such as the ATT
