We’re a specialist firm working closely with hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms and multi-manager platforms worldwide. As we continue to grow, we’re hiring a Fixed Income Researcher to support senior consultants on retained and contingent buy-side searches.

This is a genuinely market-facing role -perfect for someone who enjoys understanding how fixed income strategies work, how investment teams are built, and how performance is driven.

What you’ll be doing

Markets & Strategy Research

• Build and maintain coverage across rates, credit, structured credit, EM debt, macro, RV and inflation
• Track funds, PM teams and trading pods (AUM, performance, risk style, inflows/outflows)
• Develop real-time market intelligence on hiring trends, compensation and team moves

Search & Talent Mapping

• Map top-performing PMs, traders, analysts and quants globally
• Conduct targeted research for retained mandates and build shortlists with genuine investment insight
• Speak directly with risk-taking candidates to assess strategy, track record and fit
• Support interview processes and offer stages end-to-end

Data & Intelligence

• Analyse trading performance, portfolio construction and risk style
• Build and maintain internal databases and dashboards (Bloomberg / Excel)
• Produce detailed candidate and performance profiles to support search strategy

Requirements:

• 2:1 or equivalent from a Russell group university
• Analytically minded
• Understanding or interest in financial markets
• Available to start immediately
• Looking for a client facing role that is intellectually stimulating
