Graduate Recruitment Bureau - GRB

Mizuho is not your typical financial institution.

We offer a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a global investment bank, working on real projects, whilst developing a strong professional network within a bank that prides itself on its inclusive, cooperative and friendly company culture.

We offer the best of both worlds - the feeling of a boutique work environment within a global organisation. Our steady growth in EMEA gives our people at all levels rewarding degrees of responsibility and a richer work experience than a small firm or an established giant could offer alone.

Structured Finance Graduate Analyst (Global Markets Graduate Programme 2026)

Mizuho is looking for a graduate to join its Global Markets division, working within the Structured Financing team in London.

Within Structured Financing, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to Mizuho’s Structured Financing, supporting both the day-to-day management of existing trades and the development and execution of new financing opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the booking and ongoing management of new trades.
  • Supporting the issuance and processing of structured Medium Term Notes (MTNs).
  • Confirming newly arranged and secondary transactions.
  • Helping to manage structured financing trading books efficiently.
  • Identifying potential structured financing opportunities with clients.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across Mizuho’s international network.
  • Supporting the origination, structuring and execution of repo transactions across structured products.
  • Contributing to the continued development of Mizuho’s Securitised Products and Structured Finance business.

What can we offer you?

You’ll be joining Mizuho as part of a larger graduate cohort, giving you the opportunity to build your network and develop alongside other graduates starting their careers across the business.

Alongside the hands-on experience you’ll gain within Global Markets, you’ll benefit from extensive training and development throughout the graduate programme, helping you build the technical, commercial and professional skills you need for a successful career in financial services.

You’ll also gain exposure to live transactions and work alongside experienced colleagues within an international financial institution, giving you a strong foundation from which to develop your career.

Requirements

We’re looking for a motivated graduate who is keen to build a career within Global Markets and available to start immediately (21st September). You’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • An interest in banking, financial markets and structured finance.
  • Additional language skills would be an advantage, but are not essential.

The Recruitment Process

This opportunity has a start date of 21 September 2026, so the recruitment process will move quickly.

Following your application, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete online assessments, followed by interviews on 14/15 September.

Due to the short timescales, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
