Accounts Payable Assistant
GRB are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join a leading media agency in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance function, supporting the day-to-day accounts payable process while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
You will manage your own portfolio of suppliers and play a key role in ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time. Alongside accounts payable responsibilities, you'll also assist with a range of finance administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently within the accounting system
- Reconcile supplier accounts against monthly statements
- Investigate and resolve supplier queries promptly
- Prepare regular BACS payment runs
- Maintain and post bank transactions
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
- Maintain and update the nominal ledger
- Create and maintain supplier records
- Manage the shared accounts inbox and respond to enquiries
- Build positive working relationships with suppliers and internal teams
- Provide general finance and administrative support as required
What do you need?
- A minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in an accounts payable role
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to learn and develop within a finance environment
- Experience using finance or ERP systems (experience with media finance software such as MediaOcean is a strong advantage but not essential).
- An interest in studying towards a professional finance qualification such as AAT, CAPP or CIMA
