The Role

As a Graduate Chemist, you will contribute directly to experimental work that supports the development and optimisation of new formulations. From planning studies to interpreting results, your work will help the team understand product performance and decide what to investigate next. You will gain experience across formulation development, analytical assays, stability testing and technical reporting, while learning from experienced scientists. As your confidence and technical knowledge grow, there will be opportunities to take greater ownership of experiments, investigations and project activities.

  • Develop and refine formulations using a range of materials and scientific approaches.
  • Plan and run laboratory experiments that support product development decisions.
  • Perform analytical assays to evaluate formulation characteristics and performance.
  • Analyse experimental data and identify priorities for further investigation.
  • Investigate formulation stability and effectiveness under different test conditions.
  • Document findings and collaborate across research, development and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • An MSc degree.
  • A 2:1 degree in a life science-related subject.
  • Knowledge of the drug development lifecycle.
