As they expand, they are looking to hire candidates to train and work as Junior Data Centre Technicians.
These are entry-level positions, that will provide you with excellent opportunities to learn about the growing Data Center industry. You will be given first class training to enable you to maintain the operational integrity of the data center by performing routine technical rounds, responding to alarms, and assisting with security access controls. The role requires a strong commitment to working a variety of shifts, including some nights and weekends, to ensure the continuous operation of critical systems.

What will you do
Technical Rounds and Monitoring- Conducting regular inspections of data center equipment, including servers, cooling systems, power systems, and network infrastructure.
- Recording and logging readings from critical systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Identifying and escalating any anomalies or irregularities in equipment performance.
- Acting as the first responder to data center alarms.
- Investigating and troubleshooting issues promptly, following established protocols.
- Escalating unresolved or critical issues to senior technicians
- Managing the issuance and tracking of security badges for data center access.
- Verifying identities and access permissions to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Maintaining detailed logs of activities, incidents, and maintenance tasks.
- Providing regular reports on data center operations and any incidents encountered during shifts.
- Assisting with basic hardware installation and cabling as directed.
- Supporting scheduled maintenance activities under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work 8 or 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift pattern is 6 on, 4 off.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs/23 kgs and work in a physically demanding environment (e.g. bending, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods).
- Comfortable working in a high-security environment.
- possess Right to Work in Germany
- A minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in a technical, IT, or security role is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent German & English spoken and written ability are a must.
