The Role
As a Graduate Data & Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting a new pensions administration system being built to replace a 20-year-old legacy platform.
You will work closely with the systems development team, gaining exposure to analysis, testing, development and wider research projects. This is an opportunity to learn new technical skills quickly and shape your career around your strengths, whether that leads towards systems development, research and development or systems support leadership.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse data and system issues to identify root causes and trends.
- Build practical tools using Excel, SQL, R or Python.
- Investigate reported issues and develop clear, effective solutions.
- Query databases and reporting systems to support analysis and testing.
- Support system enhancements from testing through to release.
- Document findings and explain technical outcomes to stakeholders clearly.

Requirements
- Willingness to live and work in Guernsey
- Exposure to Excel, SQL, R or Python.
- A strong academic background in a numerate, technical or analytical discipline.
- Experience building tools, models or analysis through work, study or personal projects.
- Previous systems experience is helpful but not essential.
A degree in Maths or IT may be beneficial, but not essential.
