The Company

Based in North London, this boutique international tax advisory firm works with private clients on complex tax matters involving more than one tax system. As a graduate, you’ll join an experienced team and develop your understanding of international taxation through practical casework, research and day-to-day exposure to client matters. It’s an opportunity to build a strong technical foundation while learning how international tax rules are applied in real situations.

The Role

As an International Tax Trainee, you’ll receive hands-on exposure to a specialist area of tax while building the knowledge and skills needed for a long-term career in the profession. You’ll support senior advisors with live client work, develop your understanding of international tax rules and learn to use Excel and tax software to work with financial information. After 12 months, there is the opportunity to study towards tax qualifications including ATT and EA, giving you a chance to formalise the knowledge you develop in the role.

  • Support senior advisers with preparing detailed client casework
  • Prepare a range of tax returns and supporting information
  • Research international tax rules and relevant tax topics
  • Analyse and manipulate client data using Excel and tax software
  • Respond to clients and assist with resolving queries and issues

Requirements

We’re looking for a graduate who is naturally analytical, enjoys problem-solving and wants to build a career in international tax.

Must-Have

  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Excellent numerical ability
  • A Degree in a STEM subject or Economics
  • A or above in A-Level Maths (or equivalent)
  • Available to start in January 2027
  • Live within or be happy to relocate to a commutable distance of North London
  • 2:2 considered with mitigating circumstances for graduates from top 10 universities.
