Combine your technical curiosity with your communication skills in a fully remote Graduate Software Support Analyst role. You’ll analyse software, investigate problems, support clients, and help improve the technology they rely on.
The Company
Based in the UK and operating fully remotely, you’ll join a specialist software business with more than 30 years’ experience developing and supporting technology used by organisations across health, social care, and public services. You’ll work in a relatively small, experienced team where Support, Development, Product, and Infrastructure work closely together. This gives you the chance to understand both the technology and the real-world challenges clients are solving.
The Role
As a Graduate Software Support Analyst, you’ll develop a detailed understanding of the company’s software and become a trusted point of contact for clients. You’ll combine application support, software testing, automation, analysis, and technical problem-solving rather than following a traditional software support path.
You’ll receive support from experienced colleagues while building your skills in SQL, testing, automation, and application analysis. As you gain confidence, there is room to take ownership of more technical projects and help improve how software is tested and delivered.
- Support clients by investigating software queries and following issues through to resolution.
- Reproduce problems and analyse system behaviour to understand their underlying cause.
- Test new features, software fixes, upgrades and configuration changes before release.
- Use SQL and other tools to investigate data and support delivery activities.
- Work with technical teams to resolve application issues and improve software quality.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing and delivery processes.
Benefits and Perks
You’ll join a supportive remote team where graduates are encouraged to learn, ask questions and take on greater responsibility as their knowledge develops.
- £32,000–£35,000 salary.
- Fully remote working across the UK.
- Support and guidance from experienced technical and delivery colleagues.
- Opportunity to develop skills in application analysis, SQL, software testing and automation.
- Scope to take on increasing ownership across application support, testing, data and system delivery.
Requirements
- 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or other technical degree.
- Genuine interest in software, technology, and understanding how systems work.
- Logical, methodical approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and confidence explaining technical information to different audiences.
- Curious, self-motivated approach, and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, databases, software testing, or programming is beneficial.
