This is a purely field-based Business Advisor role, working with an established portfolio of existing retail customers on behalf of some of the UK’s best-known consumer brands. Covering Glasgow, you’ll take full ownership of your territory, building strong relationships in-store and driving commercial performance. This role suits someone who enjoys being out in the field, managing their own diary, and acting as a trusted partner to customers rather than delivering a hard-sell.

Please note this role is currently being recruited on a 9 month FTC. As a Business Advisor, you’ll be responsible for developing and growing relationships with existing customers across your designated territory. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a defined customer “ground”, meeting retailers on a daily basis
- Driving sales volume, market share, and profitability within your territory
- Conducting a targeted number of daily in-store meetings with independent retailers and retail chains
- Supporting the launch of new brands, ensuring strong visibility and availability in store
- Educating retailers and point-of-sale staff on product ranges, pricing, and promotions
- Reducing out-of-stock issues by ensuring the correct range and availability of products at all times
Basic salary: £35,500 (pro rata)
Company car and fuel card
Annual company bonus: up to 10% of salary
Sales incentive scheme: up to £5,400 per year
£2,000 annual allowances, including a daily food budget
16% non-contributory pension (worth £5,680 per year)
Flexible benefits package worth £600 per year, including; Beer and wine subscriptions, travel insurance, health screening, gym memberships and more
Total first-year package value: £52,000
This role would suit someone with some exposure to a sales or customer-facing environment who is ready to take ownership of a challenging, fast-paced territory. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Some prior sales experience (field-based, retail, hospitality, telesales, or customer-facing roles)
- A strong desire to succeed and the resilience to perform in a demanding territory
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management and planning skills, with the ability to manage a busy field-based diary
- The ability to work to targets and daily activity goals
- A natural ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
