Our client is a privately owned technical consultancy specialising in the national security and defence sectors. These roles will be starting summer/autumn 2026 but the client is interviewing now.
Locations: SE UK- Surrey and also SW (Near Cheltenham) - you will be expected to work on site 5 days a week. Due to the nature of the work, you will be expected to work on site at the client's offices 5 days a week (this is not a remote or hybrid role).
Working for this consulting firm, you will be using a range of different technologies to meet their customers' varied requirements.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Developing software for cyber security systems
- Developing novel signal, image and data processing applications
- Developing solutions in C, C++, HTML, Typescript/JavaScript, Python and Rust
- Providing support and training to customers in using the software you have produced

Requirements:
- A 2:1 or equivalent (or be predicted) in a relevant subject such as computer science, engineering, maths or physics
- You must be confident with C and/or C++
- You will need to have A grades in maths and physics at A Level (or similar)
- You must meet the criteria for UK GOVT security clearance to be considered for these roles
