GRB are partnering with a rapidly expanding accounting firm in Kent, who are looking to hire a Trainee Accountant into their July 2026 cohort. You'll join the Private Client team, gaining hands-on experience across accounting and tax while working towards your AAT and ACA qualifications.

What does the School Leaver ACA Trainee role involve?
You'll build a broad skillset across accounting and finance. Within 3-5 years, you'll be ACA-qualified with experience across accounting, tax, and advisory, opening up a wide range of career opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with senior team members on client projects and learning how to deliver high-quality professional advice
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Assisting with tax returns (corporation and personal)
- VAT returns and bookkeeping
- Payroll and client finance support
- Gradually taking on more client-facing responsibilities
Qualifications and requirements:
- Predicted BBB or above at A Level (or 120 UCAS points), including Maths or Economics
- Strong desire to become a chartered accountant
- Keen to complete the AAT /ACA qualifications
- Must have a full driving licence
- Link to the Lamberhurst (Kent) area
