As an Analyst in our Real Estate division based out of our Canary Wharf office, you will play a vital role in supporting the execution of Corporate Finance transactions and maintaining strategic dialogue with clients as part of the wider advisory role.
Job Responsibilities
- Support transaction execution including due diligence, document preparation, and liaising with relevant counterparts at the client/other advisers (accounting, legal, etc.).
- Monitor and evaluate current events, valuations, and other financial information on the clients of the group.
- Assist senior team members on client origination.
- Contribute to the origination process for certain sector verticals.
- Build and use financial models and assist in completing valuation and analytical exercises.
- Help prepare presentation books, management presentations, Board materials, Memorandums, and other presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue.
- Collaborate with team members and provide support as needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including proficiency in Excel).
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Adaptability, able to manage tasks independently, and ready to assume a level of responsibility as a member of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and judgment.
- Excellent understanding of basic financial and legal concepts.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
