We are currently seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Peterborough and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the classroom, whether through whole-class support, small group intervention, or 1:1 SEND support.

This is a flexible supply role offering daily placements, with the opportunity to move into longer-term roles for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning within the classroom across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Provide small group and 1:1 support, including SEND support where required
  • Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources
  • Support pupils’ engagement, progress, and wellbeing
  • Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and wider school staff
  • Requirements

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
  • Confidence supporting learning across the primary curriculum
  • Experience working in primary school settings
  • A proactive, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
