An inspiring SEN school in King’s Lynn is looking for a passionate and adaptable PSHE and History Teacher to join their team on a part-time, long-term basis, with the potential to go permanent. This is an incredible opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated PSHE and History lessons to meet a range of needs
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence
- Work collaboratively with SEN specialists and support staff to provide tailored education
- Track student progress and contribute to personalised education plans
- Participate in wider school life, including pastoral support and enrichment activities
Requirements:
- Experience teaching PSHE and/or History, ideally in an SEN setting
- A compassionate, patient and inclusive teaching approach
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet a variety of learning needs
- QTS desirable but not essential for the right candidate with relevant experience
