We are seeking a versatile and dedicated TA/HLTA to support an exceptional primary school in Wisbech. This dual-role position offers the opportunity to work across different year groups, making a meaningful impact in both a support and leadership capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Morning (8:30AM – 12PM)
  • Assist Year 5/6 teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Support pupils individually or in small groups to enhance learning and development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Afternoon (1PM – 3:30PM)
    • Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons as a HLTA to cover teachers’ PPA time.
    • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
    • Maintain classroom discipline and inspire students to achieve their potential.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a TA or HLTA, preferably across various year groups.
    • Relevant qualifications (e.g., HLTA status, TA qualifications, or equivalent experience).
    • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with pupils effectively.
    • A proactive and adaptable approach to working in both support and leadership roles.
    • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
