We are currently seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Peterborough and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the classroom, whether through whole-class support, small group intervention, or 1:1 SEND support.

This is a flexible supply role offering daily placements, with the opportunity to move into longer-term roles for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

* Support teaching and learning within the classroom across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

* Provide small group and 1:1 support, including SEND support where required

* Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources

* Support pupils’ engagement, progress, and wellbeing

* Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding

* Work collaboratively with class teachers and wider school staff

Requirements

* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

* Confidence supporting learning across the primary curriculum

* Experience working in primary school settings

* A proactive, caring, and adaptable approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
