We are currently recruiting QTS-qualified Supply Teachers to work across both primary and secondary schools in the Northampton and Kettering areas. This is a flexible daily supply role, ideal for teachers looking for variety, work-life balance, or a return to the classroom without a long-term commitment. With opportunities available across multiple schools and year groups, this role allows you to choose when and where you work.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across primary and/or secondary year groups
- Follow school lesson plans and adapt where required
- Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support pupil learning, engagement, and wellbeing
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
- Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each placement where required
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confidence teaching in primary and/or secondary school settings
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
