We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants with SEND experience to join our team, working in primary schools across the Cambridge area. Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across all year groups.
- Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.
- Assist with planning and implementing individualised learning plans for SEND pupils.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment to promote students' social and emotional well-being.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and support students during lessons and activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small-group support as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEND in a school setting is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to meet diverse pupil needs.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
- A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
