We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants with SEND experience to join our team, working in primary schools across the Cambridge area. Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across all year groups.
  • Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.
  • Assist with planning and implementing individualised learning plans for SEND pupils.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment to promote students' social and emotional well-being.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and support students during lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEND in a school setting is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to meet diverse pupil needs.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
  • A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
