Grade A Recruitment are working with a school in Peterborough who are looking to appoint a Drama Teacher / Instructor to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Drama specialist to teach up to GCSE level within a supportive school environment. The role is available three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and will run from September until December 2026. With no planning or marking responsibilities, this position would suit someone looking to focus on delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students through drama and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Drama lessons up to GCSE level
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage student participation, creativity and confidence
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Support students in developing their performance and communication skills
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure positive outcomes for pupils
Requirements:
- Experience teaching or delivering Drama lessons up to GCSE level
