Grade A Recruitment are working with a school in Thetford who are looking to appoint a Music Teacher on a full-time basis from September 2026 until Christmas 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Music Teacher to join a supportive school environment, delivering engaging music lessons and inspiring students to develop their musical knowledge, skills and creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, marking and assessing pupil progress throughout the placement.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across the relevant key stages
  • Assess, monitor and record pupil progress
  • Mark work in line with school policies
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. No visa sponsorship is provided; candidates must have Right To Work in the UK. QTS Teachers will receive a bonus of £250 when registering with Grade A Recruitment and working a minimum of 10 days.
