As an Automation QA Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of this platform as part of a dynamic, cross-functional tech team working at the forefront of modern software development.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an Agile squad to support development and delivery of new product features
- Conduct thorough exploratory testing alongside automated test execution
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated testing pipelines using industry-leading tools
- Define and validate acceptance criteria for user stories
- Help identify technical debt and contribute to backlog refinement and prioritisation
- Support non-functional testing efforts, including performance and accessibility testing
- Contribute to documentation and peer review processes
- Share QA expertise with the wider engineering community to promote best practices
Tech Stack You’ll Work With
- Test Automation: Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin, Postman
- DevOps & CI/CD: GitLab, Jenkins (or similar), Git, BrowserStack
- Performance & Accessibility Testing: K6, JMeter
- Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence, Snagit
- AI Tools: Exposure to GitHub Copilot or similar GenAI testing support tools
About You
- Strong background in full-stack web application testing (manual and automated)
- Practical experience in Agile software development environments
- Proficient with modern automation frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, accessibility, and performance testing
- Comfortable with REST API testing
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Eager to mentor others and promote a culture of quality across the team
- A quick learner who stays up-to-date with emerging tools and trends
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
- Interest in applying AI tools to support automation
- Passionate about improving developer workflows and delivery pipelines
Working Environment
- Full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours/week)
