Our client is a dynamic and successful recruitment company specializing in placing top-tier talent within the private equity sector. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Web & IT Assistant to provide crucial support to our team.

About the Role:

This is a varied and hands-on role perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in both web administration and IT support within a professional office setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our website, providing first-line IT support to our team, and contributing to various technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Maintenance & Administration: Updating website content (text, images, job postings) accurately and efficiently using our Content Management System (CMS). Ensuring website functionality, identifying and reporting any technical issues. Liaising with external web developers for more complex updates and projects. Monitoring website analytics and providing basic reports.
  • IT Support: Providing first-line technical support to staff on hardware (laptops, printers, mobile devices), software (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems), and network issues. Troubleshooting basic IT problems and escalating complex issues to external IT support providers. Setting up new user accounts and managing access permissions. Assisting with the maintenance of IT equipment and inventory. Ensuring data security and adherence to IT policies.
  • General Administrative & Technical Tasks: Assisting with the setup and maintenance of video conferencing and presentation equipment. Managing software licenses and subscriptions. Contributing to ad-hoc technical projects as required. Maintaining accurate records of IT issues and resolutions.

About You:

  • A strong interest in web technologies and IT support.
  • Basic experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
  • Good understanding of basic IT principles and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
