We are looking for an experienced Early Careers Recruitment & Programme Manager to lead the delivery of graduate and internship hiring programmes for a major organisation within the technology and digital sector. This is a highly visible role that combines recruitment, stakeholder engagement, programme management, candidate experience and graduate development. You will work closely with senior business leaders and talent teams to attract, assess and support emerging talent from application through to programme completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple early careers programmes, ensuring hiring objectives are achieved while delivering an exceptional experience for candidates and stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end graduate and internship recruitment campaigns across a range of business areas.
- Partner with hiring managers to define workforce requirements and recruitment plans.
- Review and refine role profiles and attraction strategies to ensure market competitiveness.
- Support the development of employer branding, social media and event strategies to attract diverse talent.
- Monitor recruitment activity and provide regular reporting on pipeline performance and hiring progress.
- Develop candidate engagement initiatives to maintain interest throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate assessment centres, interviews and selection events, both virtually and in person.
- Deliver training and guidance to hiring teams on assessment best practice, inclusive hiring and candidate engagement.
- Manage offer processes, onboarding activity and candidate communications through to start date.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on early careers recruitment.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support talent acquisition strategies.
- Ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout recruitment campaigns.
- Deliver campaign reviews and post-hire analysis, identifying opportunities for future improvements.
Programme Management & Candidate Development
- Oversee the ongoing management of graduate and internship cohorts.
- Support participants throughout their programme, providing guidance and pastoral support where required.
- Coordinate development activities, workshops and programme milestones.
- Assist with the design and implementation of learning and development initiatives.
- Organise and support key programme events including inductions, networking sessions, review points and graduation activities.
- Monitor participant progress and facilitate successful transitions into permanent roles.
About You
You will have previous experience managing large-scale graduate, internship or early careers programmes and be passionate about supporting emerging talent.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in early careers or volume recruitment.
- Experience managing graduate, internship or placement programmes from attraction through to onboarding.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience facilitating assessment centres and selection processes.
