About You

You may be a recent graduate, career changer, or aspiring teacher with a passion for Computer Science, digital learning, and education. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a motivated aspiring Computer Science teacher / graduate trainee
  • Has a degree or strong subject knowledge in Computer Science, Computing, ICT, Software Engineering or a related discipline
  • Is confident teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4, or keen to develop this expertise
  • Is enthusiastic, reflective and eager to grow as a classroom practitioner
  • Is committed to high standards, teamwork and whole-school values
  • Can build positive relationships and inspire curiosity, problem-solving and ambition in young people
  • Is keen to develop their teaching practice through high-quality mentoring and training

Training Progression with Grad2Teach

This role follows Grad2Teach’s fully salaried, two-phase teacher training model:

  • Phase One – Level 4 Foundational Training
  • Complete a Level 4 NCFE customised qualification while working in school
  • Training aligned to the Core Content Framework (CCF) and Teachers’ Standards
  • Learn through guided practice, lesson observations, professional learning
