A leading global manufacturer of innovative label and packaging solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join its expanding engineering team. The organisation operates across multiple international sites and is recognised for delivering advanced print‑finishing technology to customers worldwide. Role Purpose

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electrical design activities, supporting production, R&D, procurement, subcontractors, service teams and technical documentation. This role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and check high‑quality electrical drawings and schematics
  • Work closely with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure designs meet customer and project requirements
  • Provide technical support to in‑house electricians, subcontract partners, service engineers and end‑users
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for machine operation, testing and design
  • Liaise with suppliers and purchasing teams regarding component selection and specification
  • Travel occasionally to company sites, customer locations and supplier facilities as required

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in electrical design within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering (HNC, HND or Degree level desirable)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, standards and design principles
  • Ability to interpret and produce detailed technical documentation
  • Effective communicator with strong problem‑solving skills
