Live In Carer Required in Milton Keynes

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live In Carer to provide essential support to gentleman living on his own. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist customer with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to customer\’s dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a positive environment.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients\’ health conditions.
• Implement behaviour management techniques to assist customer.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for customers.
• Document care provided and report any changes in customers conditions to relevant healthcare professionals.

Experience

• Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities or home care settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in first aid and basic life support techniques is advantageous.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices and behaviour management strategies is preferred.
• A background in nursing or related healthcare fields would be beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and their families.
• A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
