We have a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years Assistant to join our Godmanchester Pre‑School, which is rated Good by Ofsted and has a 9.9 rating on Day Nurseries. As an Early Years Assistant, you will provide high‑quality inclusive early years education and care. Your work will support children and families, and you will be part of a friendly, inclusive setting that values professional growth.

Job Purpose

  • Provide creative and engaging learning opportunities for children
  • Be a proactive member of the team, providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Support the Nursery Management team in delivering high‑quality care following policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with young children, with a friendly, flexible approach
  • Willingness to undertake training towards or towards a recognised childcare qualification
  • Required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, if your current certificate is not subscribed to the update service

Hours per week: 32.5
Weeks per year: 39
