We're seeking an experienced Senior Front End Engineer to lead the development and evolution of our market‐leading gaming platform. In this role, you'll take ownership of complex frontend systems, collaborate closely with backend teams and product stakeholders, and drive technical excellence across our engineering organisation. You'll be responsible for architectural decisions, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring our platform meets both performance and regulatory compliance standards in the iGaming industry.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact.
  • Participate in architecture discussions with DevOps/Platform teams on deployment strategies, monitoring, and infrastructure.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and feasibility assessments.
  • Establish and maintain coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines across the frontend team.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality across the code base.
  • Establish and expand comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, e2e) with meaningful test coverage.
  • Support when required the contribution of developing a frontend for a new market‐leading modern platform.
  • Assist with test and debug new aspects of the build when needed.
  • Facilitate install, test and debug plugins or services including SDKs and tracking solutions.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven hands‐on commercial experience with modern frontend frameworks (React & Next.js preferred) and deep understanding of component architecture, hooks, and state management.
  • Ability to create pixel‐perfect creations from Figma designs using Tailwind and Next.Js.
  • Proven experience with full‐stack web development concepts: understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, SDK's, Payment Gateways, Analytics, backend data models, and system integrations.
  • Proficiency with version control (Git/GitHub) and comfortable working with complex branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering practices including design patterns, SOLID principles, testable code, and architectural patterns.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and understanding of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure concepts.
  • Have knowledge of UX best practices and a keen interest.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Bonus: iOS/Android app development experience.
  • Optional: Experience using and deploying products on cloud providers (AWS).
  • Optional: Experience with monorepos.
  • Optional: Experience working in regulated industries or with compliance requirements is a plus; gambling/iGaming experience is highly valued.
  • Able to work individually on assigned design briefs and collaboratively with the team.
  • Have a degree level qualification or equivalent CIM diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Be genuinely interested and passionate about web development.
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity.
  • Be comfortable with providing regular feedback on your work.
