We are recruiting for an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead a small, specialist service. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a developing service and drive high standards of care in a close-knit, person-centred environment. The home supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex needs, providing tailored care within a structured and supportive setting. There is also an exciting opportunity to commission a new service nearby which will be a 14 bed service for the same client group.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and standards
  • Leading, motivating, and developing the staff team
  • Promoting a culture of person-centred care and continuous improvement
  • Overseeing care planning, risk management, and quality assurance
  • Managing budgets, occupancy levels, and overall service performance
  • Building and maintaining relationships with families, professionals, and commissioners

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
  • A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care
