Care home manager in Suffolk IP28, 38 hours per week, supernumerary, up to £65k per annum, 38 days holiday per annum, sick pay, pension, health insurance.

A super opportunity to manage a medium sized (30 bed) nursing, residential and dementia (mild and moderate) care home that has been subject to a superb refurbishment. The home has a GOOD CQC and an excellent reputation locally.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced home manager to lead a long standing and stable staff team including a clinical deputy manager to continue the excellent care this home is renowned for.

You will:

  • Enable and lead the delivery of excellent person centred care services, focusing on outcomes and wellbeing, to all residents, and in line with / recognition of home specific needs.
  • Develop and lead a highly skilled, motivated and engaged team.
  • Maintain the high standard of governance systems and structures needed to run the Home in regard to care and support; health and safety; staff; management; and all other UK and sector legislation and regulatory requirements.

You have a wonderful opportunity to lead the team and develop the home at this exciting time in its development.

You will be/have:

  • An experienced CQC registered home manager with a passion for excellent and outstanding care.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An NMC PIN OR level 5 health and social care.
  • A background of GOOD or Outstanding CQC reports.
  • An interest in dementia care.
