Your Role as an RN/LPN Nurse: As an RN/LPN Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the physical and psychosocial needs of our cherished residents are met with the utmost dignity and compassion.
Your Responsibilities:
- Start your shift by receiving a comprehensive shift report to ensure seamless care continuity.
- Assume leadership by coordinating the care of residents with appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accountability by accurately counting narcotics with the off-going nurse.
- Adhere to facility, state, and federal regulations while administering scheduled medications.
- Document vital information on residents, including 7-day assessments for MDS documentation, alert charting, monthly summaries, and incidents/accidents.
- Participate in admission assessments, transfers, deaths, physician orders, and prepare for physician rounds.
- Your regular attendance is essential to our team's success.
- Communicate resident or staff issues to appropriate personnel.
- Attend meetings and in-services as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of a Practical Nurse Program.
- Completion of a Registered Nurse program.
- Experience: One year of experience in a nursing environment.
- Preferred: Three years of experience in geriatric nursing.
- Professional Membership, Licensures, Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of PA. Registered Nurse in the state of PA.
