Responsibilities
- Collaborate with main contractors, consultants, and fellow QS professionals to negotiate, coordinate, and certify claims for payment.
- Prepare and submit progressive claims, variation orders, and other contractual documentation in a timely manner.
- Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims, while managing sub‑contract administration including correspondence and dispute resolution.
- Support the Project Director/Manager in all aspects of pre‑contract, post‑contract, and procurement administration.
- Handle SOI/MCI matters and ensure accurate submission of variation orders.
- Source, review, and negotiate quotations to achieve cost efficiency.
- Monitor project budgets and exercise cost control, including preparing monthly financial reports and presentations.
- Apply expertise in ELV & Security Systems (PA, CCTV, Card Access, ISMS, Fire Alarm System, Structured Cabling, IBMS, BMS etc.).
- Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and progress.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related electronics or mechanical fields.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of PSSCOC standard forms of contract.
- Meticulous, analytical, and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Highly motivated, self‑driven, and capable of working independently with initiative.
