Overview: We are working with a leading global loss adjusting practice with a strong reputation for handling large, complex and technically demanding property losses across the UK, to appoint a Major & Complex Loss Adjuster into their specialist team. This is a senior field-based role focused on the end-to-end management of high-value and complex commercial and domestic property losses, typically ranging from £250,000 through to multi million pound claims. You will be involved in some of the most challenging and high-profile losses in the market, including industrial fires, large-scale commercial property damage, catastrophic escape of water events, storm and flood losses, construction-related collapse, and complex business interruption (BI) claims. The role sits within a highly experienced MCL function, working alongside chartered adjusters, forensic accountants, engineers, and specialist consultants, with responsibility for driving technical strategy, quantum assessment, and insurer reporting on complex, often multi-party claims.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of major and complex property losses from first notification through to final settlement
  • Lead investigations into cause, origin, and extent of damage
