We are working with a well-established loss adjusting firm who are looking to appoint a Junior Property Loss Adjuster to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to develop within loss adjusting and gain exposure to both domestic and commercial property claims. You will receive full training and ongoing support while building your technical knowledge and experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Assisting with the management of property claims from initial instruction through to settlement
- Attending site visits with senior adjusters to assess damage and understand cause of loss
- Supporting the investigation of claims and gathering relevant information and evidence
- Reviewing policy documentation and assisting in coverage checks
- Preparing reports and supporting documentation for insurers
- Communicating with policyholders, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Assisting with the appointment and coordination of specialists such as surveyors and engineers
- Monitoring claim progress and ensuring updates are accurately recorded
- Supporting negotiations and settlement discussions under supervision
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with company processes and regulatory standards
About You
- Some experience within insurance, claims, property, or a related field is desirable
- Strong interest in developing a career in loss adjusting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a field-based and office/home hybrid role
- Full UK driving licence preferred or working towards
