TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Bexhill. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Taxation Senior to join their friendly, professional team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-standing and respected practice that delivers high-quality, personalised services to a portfolio of self-employed professionals. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with both clients and colleagues.
The Role
You'll take full ownership of your own client portfolio. Responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of self-employed professionals
- Preparing Income & Expenditure accounts from varied sources (e.g. salary, rental income)
- Completing personal tax returns and HMRC submissions
- Carrying out pension tax calculations and advising on pension tax issues (full training provided)
- Delivering ad hoc tax advice when required
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal teams
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential
- A qualification such as ACCA, ACA, ATT, or CTA is desirable (or qualified by experience/time-barred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
