Working at Wintermute

Wintermute seeks an experienced C++ Developer for its growing options team, one of the biggest electronic trading desks in the crypto options market.

In this role, you will directly collaborate with our traders, focusing on the development of scalable, high-performance options trading systems.

You will engage with the full options stack, expanding the business across centralized finance, decentralized finance, and OTC.

The ideal candidate is able to solve difficult problems and thrives in a fast-paced environment. \n Responsibilities

  • System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, low-latency options trading systems and strategies.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize and monitor the performance of the trading system, ensuring fast execution. .
  • Testing: Contribute to the development of unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the trading system.
  • Hard Skills requirements
  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming and software development best practices.
  • Experience in developing trading platforms, preferably from a HFT environment
  • Knowledge of options or crypto would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with market data feeds, order execution protocols and connectivity to exchanges.
  • Solid understanding of multi-threading, concurrency and low latency programming.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
