My client in North West England is looking to appoint a talented SEND Power BI Developer on a Contract basis.

The role supports performance monitoring of the SEND DMP and SEND service decision-making.

You will work with the Data Group, SEND Business Analyst, the Capita lead and the head of Service for SEND.

About the role

Based in Central London (Hybrid - 2 days on site)

  • Design and develop visually compelling and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions Connecting to a variety of data sources (Capita, SQL Server, Excel, Share Point, APIs, etc.).
  • Model data efficiently (e. g. star schema) for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with DMP Data Group and SEND Head of Service to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting needs.
  • Work with the BA and Capita lead to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reports.
  • Work with the SEND Business Analyst, IT and data teams to improve data pipelines and infrastructure.

About you: You will have the following experiences

  • Local Authority experience with SEND data is essential
  • Extensive experience with Power BI development, SQL, star schema, etc.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to elicit requirements and apply into appropriate visualisation

What's on offer

  • Salary: £500 per day, outside IR35
