The Role of Area Sales Manager

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 400 accounts across a defined territory
  • Selling industrial / engineering components into a mix of end users and trade partners
  • 50% of your time focused on OEM customers
  • 50% managing and growing relationships with established distributors and re-sellers (e. g. Eriks, Key Industrial, BSL, etc.)
  • Engaging with a variety of stakeholders including Production Managers, Engineers, and Buyers
  • 75% of your focus will be on existing businessdeveloping current accounts and converting warm inbound enquiries
  • Tasked with growing an area currently generating circa £800K turnover
  • Supported by an internal team for quotes, lead generation, and customer service
  • Full autonomy to manage your diary and develop your area with the backing of a respected brand (2/3 days field / 2/3 days WFH)
