Remote Java Fullstack with Camunda developer in Rochdale

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with Camunda BPM experience to design and develop scalable, workflow-driven web applications. This role combines deep backend expertise in Java/Spring Boot with modern frontend development skills and a strong understanding of Camunda BPMN process orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop BPMN 2.0 workflows and DMN rules using Camunda Modeler.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Build dynamic, responsive UIs using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Integrate Camunda workflows with REST APIs, databases, messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and user interfaces.
• Configure and manage Camunda engine, external task workers, and job execution.
• Write unit and integration tests for both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, DevOps, and other developers to deliver complete solutions.
• Deploy and monitor applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Backend: 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs. Strong expertise with Camunda BPM (v7 or v8) – BPMN, DMN, external tasks, process orchestration.
• Frontend: Experience in Angular, React, or Vue.js. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Other Technologies: Integration experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging tools. Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitLab CI.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Camunda 8 / Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, or Keycloak for authentication.
• Experience in domains like banking, insurance, or public sector automation.
